About FamiWiki

FamiWiki (or Famicom Wiki) is a wiki which aims to document 8-bit Nintendo and 16-bit Nintendo hardware, software, media, and everything else related.

Our goal

FamiWiki aims to be the most comprehensive and approachable resource for everything Family Computer, Super Famicom, Nintendo Entertainment System, and Super Nintendo Entertainment System whether that's hardware, software, media, and personnel. FamiWiki seeks proper documentation of Nintendo's 8-bit and 16-bit history worldwide with most existing documentation only existing in a western point of view which FamiWiki aims to rectify.

Milestones

• February 4, 2023: FamiWiki is proposed on The OpenWiki Project.
• March 21, 2023: FamiWiki passes its proposal on The OpenWiki Project.
• March 22, 2023: FamiWiki.net goes online for the first time.
• September 5, 2023: FamiWiki reaches the 1,000 articles milestone.
