Battle Choice (バトルチョイス) is an unreleased simulation/action game that was developed and going to be published by Konami and planned to release for the Family Computer sometime in 1989. The game was never previewed to the public and it is unknown why it was cancelled.[1] In November 2023, a sample cartridge was put up for auction and sold for ¥2,401,000.[2]
Gameplay
The game takes cues from shogi, in which players move pieces across the board. When pieces come into contact, an action battle begins with the winning piece remaining on the board. Defeating the king piece completes the stage.
