The Goonies (グーニーズ) is a platform video game developed and published by Konami, released for the Family Computer on Febuary 21st, 1986. It is based on the movie of the same name. It later received a sequel, The Goonies II: Fratelli Saigo no Chousen. Despite its sequel being released internationally, The Goonies was never released for the Nintendo Entertainment System but did see a release on the PlayChoice-10 outside of Japan.
