Pony Canyon is a Japanese publishing company founded as a record label division of Nippon Broadcasting System in 1966. In the early 80's they began publishing computer games. Throughout the Famicom's life, they were primarily focused on releasing games for home computers, especially the MSX. Pony Canyon was not a developer, they only contracted other companies for the games they released.
