Advanced Video System

The Advanced Video System is the prototype for a redesigned Family Computer and would later evolve into the Nintendo Entertainment System. The AVS was shown publicly once at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show in 1985. The console was designed to appear as if it were a computer with its keyboard being an English version of the Famicom's Family BASIC keyboard.
