Akumajou Densetsu (悪魔城伝説) is an action/adventure game developed and published by Konami. It released for the Family Computer on December 22, 1989 in Japan, and would later release as Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse for the Nintendo Entertainment System in September 1990 in North America. The Famicom version is notable for it's VRC6 mapper chip which added two extra sound channels.
