    • Back to the Future is an arcade style game developed by Beam Software and published by LJN and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in September 1989 in North America. The game is based on the 1985 film of the same name.

    Legacy

    The game received a lot of negative feedback over the years. In a 2010 interview, screenwriter Bob Gale has gone on record by saying the NES game is "one of the worst video games ever" and even suggests checking the Angry Video Game Nerd episode demonstrating the game. Gale encouraged fans to not buy the game as he was ashamed of something this bad bearing the Back to the Future name.[1]
