Dragon Quest (ドラゴンクエスト) is a role-playing game developed by Chunsoft and published by Enix and released for the Family Computer on May 27th, 1986 in Japan. The game was released as Dragon Warrior for the Nintendo Entertainment System in August 1989 in North America. The NES version never made it to PAL territories. The original Dragon Quest has seen many ports and remakes in decades since.
