"Digital Devil Monogatari: Megami Tensei"

Monogatari is incorrect. It is pronounced Sutōrī, not Monogatari. Look at the furigana. PikaSamus (talk) 17:38, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

I asked Bro about this when I created the page in March, and he said we should stick with Monogatari. Furigana doesn't really override the meaning of kanji, and since there are other games that use 物語 in the title that don't have furigana, I think it's better if we have a little consistency for now. Yeah agreed with Aux, most sources go with Monogatari not just for this particular game but for others as well and I really do not want to break said consistency in this case but with that said I am very open to hearing suggestions. --Bro3256 (talk) 17:54, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

It's already inconsistent in Japanese for this particular title (and its sequel) because of the furigana, which changes the pronunciation. If not the page title, at least say it's pronounced like that somewhere. PikaSamus (talk) 03:00, 10 November 2023 (UTC)

I can understand that but if we go by that than many of the existing pages would have to undergo a name change and as seen in our policy page, Monogatari makes more sense otherwise we'd have to change titles such as Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari and Yume Penguin Monogatari in which case all existing sources go with Monogatari. --Bro3256 (talk) 20:33, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
