Bullet-Proof Software was an American-Japanese developer and publisher for video games. The company was founded by Henk Rogers on August 10, 1983. The company soon after became a Nintendo licensee thanks to close connections to then company president Hiroshi Yamauchi. Bullet Proof Software would be heavily involved with securing the license to publish Tetris video games and helped Nintendo secure console and handheld rights. In 1996, Henk Rogers would found a successor company Blue Planet Software and on February 22, 2001 Bullet Proof Software would become defunct.
